My friend announced he's off to Timaru this weekend. There's not much to say about that. There aren't many worse towns. Hamilton, maybe... Wanganui, yeah that's a crap hole too. But Timaru doesn't have that quaint bogan-ness or gangland charm of the other two. It's just a hole.
